3rd Avenue
3rd Avenue marks a change in my NYC Peepshow work from observer to participant. In the series I invite other men into my booth and photograph our raw interactions. No longer hindered by plexiglass, the on-camera flash illuminates the layers of action occurring in the confined space. Fragmented body parts and pornographic video screens form illusions of erotic scenes and reveal the thrill of performative pleasure.
